For Fontana Forni design is essential: they needed a facelift for his range of pizza ovens.
Our goal was to create a rigorous and essential object almost an architectural element that summarizes the iconic aspects of the pizza oven.
Bellagio is an intersection of arches and lines, the purist expression of the pizza oven and of Fontana Forni design language.
The imposing dimensions of the object led us to separate the volume into blocks with different colors and finishes to visually lighten the product.
In the design of the pedestal, the main challenge was to find a solution that would work aesthetically both with the product on the stand and in the “free-standing” version.
The stylization of the object led us to design a perforated sheet container hanged from the trolley which becomes a practical storage compartment for wood or other cooking accessories.
Important interventions have been made on the front and on the chimney to integrate the regulation systems respecting the minimalism of the design.
