Seitron is one of the leading players in Europe in the market of flue gas analyzer. The company decided to entrust the Whynot team with the redesign of its flagship product for the industrial sector.
Whynot designers took the opportunity of this new project not only to update the aesthetics of this single device but to define the basis of a new Seitron design language.
With attention to the positioning among the main competitors, Whynot has defined guidelines for a distinctive design language made of soft but controlled shapes, intersecting simple volumes enriched with premium and sophisticated details.
Starting from a fixed volume of internal components almost unchanged from the previous device, the main challenge was to make the product visually slimmer with particular attention to ergonomics. The rounded section of the product lends itself to a comfortable grip that is optimized with the aid of a rubber shell that increases the grip, while the silicone shell becomes a touch of color.
Reliability, precision and technology have been the aesthetic drivers that we have transferred to the new design that communicates a high degree of technicality and quality hidden inside.
