Collection 4.0 is a reimagining of some of Foppapedretti’s most beloved and best-selling products. The Italian company turned to Whynot to update the design of two iconic household models: the Assai ironing board and the Gulliver drying rack.
The new models stand out with a contemporary design and innovative wood craftsmanship. Shapes have been rounded and smoothed to integrate better with each other, and the number of technical components has been reduced, allowing the wood to take center stage. Special attention has also been given to the textile parts, featuring graphics and color palettes that make them decorative as well as functional.
The practicality and functional intelligence of the two models have been preserved without compromise, ensuring they remain as efficient and user-friendly as ever.
The Gulliver 4.0 folding wooden drying rack by Foppapedretti brings a fresh, contemporary twist to a beloved design that has been successful for over 40 years. This latest version features a solid FSC-certified wood structure with smooth, rounded shapes, available in three stylish color variants.
With its 27 meters of clothesline, the Gulliver 4.0 is designed to adapt to the user’s needs, featuring independent side and front arms with painted aluminum rods that can be adjusted according to the amount of laundry. When not in use, the airer folds down to a compact size, occupying just 14 centimeters, and remains upright independently. It also features sturdy braking wheels for easy movement, allowing for flexible placement within the home.
